This event will be a workshop illustrating the use of some basic python programming and will run alongside the Object Orientation in Python Workshop in a short series of workshops delivered by PhD candidates from the CDT in Next Generation Computational Modelling.
This course will be aimed at anyone with no previous programming experience and with the intent to learn the basic building blocks of coding.
The workshop will cover:
- Lists
- Loops
- Conditionals
- Functions
Those attending are required to bring a laptop with the Anaconda distribution for python 3.5 installed (can be found at https://www.continuum.io/downloads).
