I am first year postgraduate research student with the EPSRC centre for doctoral training in Next Generation Computational Modelling (NGCM).
I completed my undergraduate studies in physics at Oriel College, University of Oxford. Whilst there I developed a deep interest in quantum information processing and emerging quantum technologies. My Ph.D. project will involve the development of optimised composite laser pulses to be used in atomic quantum computers, with the aim of reducing the errors in information processing (due for example to variations in laser intensity).
