I studied for an MPhys Physics With Photonics here at Southampton, gained a First Class Honours degree and shared the prize for top final year project for my work on Surface Plasmon Polaritons.

I am now part of the Doctoral Training Centre for the Institute for Complex System Simulations and am now in the first year of the research component having successfully completed the taught component year to the equivalent of a Distinction at Masters level.

My research is based in the Agents, Interaction and Complexity research group and my focus is decentralised coordination of unmanned aerial vehicles for use in an emergency response scenario. I am modelling the system as a distributed constraint optimisation problem where the constraints are now distributions to model the uncertainty that arises in the dynamic operating environment of the UAVs.
