Nick Synes

I am a postgraduate research student at the Institute for Complex Systems Simulation.

I have a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Exeter, and an MSc in Environmental Management from the University of Southampton. My MSc dissertation was entitled "Choice of predictor variables as a source of uncertainty in continental-scale species distribution modelling under climate change", and was published in the journal "Global Ecology and Biogeography".

My research interests are in the impacts of environmental change on species and communities, and the modelling of species distributions.
