Hans Fangohr and Matteo Franchin provide an introduction to the use of Nmag. We offer a mixture of short presentations together with practical exercises. We hope to be able to arrange hardware and software so that every participant can use a copy of Nmag during the day to experiment and be able to better follow the workshop.
Anticipated topics covered include
- setting up simple simulations using Nmag

principles of mesh generation (using Netgen)

post-processing and visualising data (using MayaVi)
This is also an opportunity to start setting up simulations to model a system that is of interest to you with the help of Matteo and Hans.
