Docker can be a good alternative to the use of Virtual Machines, as it is faster and performs the same tasks with a fraction of the computational cost. It is also a incredible powerful tool to ship complex applications involving multiple pieces of software. It also helps to reduce the dependency hell often associated with the problem of reproducible computing.
This workshop will consist in a general presentation about docker, followed by a hands-on session with proposed exercises.
