Now a senior engineer in an engineering consultancy and a visiting research fellow in the Southampton Marine and Maritime Institute. Formerly involved in research on the 4 year Engineering Doctorate (EngD) programme on my thesis titled "Compartment flooding and motions of damaged ships" (2007-2012). The research areas I had been involved in as part of the project included waves, ship motions, orifice flow and violent free surface behaviour, using both experiments and computational simulation.
