I am a Ph.D. research student, currently in the third year of my postgraduate studies. My research is focussed on simulating unsteady flows in the maritime environment. Specifically, I am interested in how turbulent flows generate noise, and how these processes can be modelled computationally. I use the OpenFOAM libraries, and utilise Iridis 3 for parallel jobs.
