I am a postgraduate research student in the Centre for Doctoral Training in Next Generation Computational Modelling (NGCM) funded by the EPSRC.
I graduated from Sheffield University with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering and spent three years in the aerospace industry working as a computational engineer specialising in hypersonic flow.
My PhD project will develop the implementation and application of a new optimisation technique which combines deep learning techniques in neural networks with distributed optimisation methods to create a dynamically re-scalable optimisation process, supervised by Dr Richard A. Watson.
