Course on CUDA Programming on NVIDIA GPUs

When Monday 26th July '10, 9.00am to Friday 30th July '10, 5.00pm

Where: Computing Laboratory, Lecture Theatre B (access via Parks Road)

This is a 5-day hands-on course for students, postdocs, academics and others who want to learn how to develop applications to run on NVIDIA GPUs using their CUDA programming environment. All that will be assumed is some proficiency with C programming. No prior experience with parallel computing is expected.

The course will consist of approximately 3 hours of lectures each morning and 3 hours of practicals in the afternoon. The objective is that by the end of the course you will be able to write relatively simple programs and will be confident and able to continue learning through studying the examples provided by NVIDIA as part of their SDK (software development kit).

The cost is as follows:

-- Free for those from Oxford University

-- £100 for those from other UK universities

-- £500 for those from government labs, not-for-profit companies, and foreign universities

-- £1000 for those from industry
