As part of the CEDG seminar series, on Monday 8 November we will have the privilege of welcoming Don Jones of General Motors, who will be presenting a seminar titled "A Gentle Introduction to Kriging" at 10am in the B25 Board Room.

Don holds a Yale Mathematics degree and an MIT Economics PhD and he is widely known in the engineering community for his work on efficient global optimization techniques. As of today, his first journal article on the subject has 292 citations according to ISI!

In his current role he employs these technologies in the mass and crashworthiness optimization of GM vehicles.
