Music perception assessment and rehabilitation for cochlear implant users: an interactive afternoon

Cochlear implant users often report difficulty when listening to music.

Rehabilitation programs involving training and musical activity have been shown to increase enjoyment of music and measuring music perception can help determine ability and improvement.

This afternoon is a chance to demonstrate some of these activities that are taking place within the Music Focus Group.

Anne Wheatley - Music perception tests for cochlear implant users

Leen de Bruyn - Music perception and musical development in children towards research-based interactive applications for music education and auditory rehabilitation.
