The academy is designed to provide a basic training in HPC methods to students just beginning their PhD, though we also welcome more mature researchers from any relevant background. The course will cover Basic HPC tools, Programming, Performance Programming, Parrallel Architecures, Shared Variables Parallelism, Message Passing Parallelism and Practical Parallel Programming. Applying for places:

There will be some grants which will be awarded, students who wish to be considered for a grant need to apply before Friday 29th June 2012

If you require College accommodation you need to apply before Monday 30th July 2012

Announcements of grant decision will be made by Friday 6th July 2012

The final date for applications for the autumn academy will be Friday 17th August 2012 but your own accommodation will have to be found.
