Key details for the next Autumn Academy are:

The academy is designed to provide a basic training in HPC methods to students just beginning their PhD, though we also welcome more mature researchers from any relevant background. The course will cover Basic HPC tools, Programming, Performance Programming, Parrallel Architecures, Shared Variables Parallelism, Message Passing Parallelism and Practical Parallel Programming. All participants should preliminary read the following Matrices and exercises http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/cross_fac/hpc-sc/courses/academy/preparatory.pdf before the course starts on 9th September 2013.
Applying for places:
There will be some grants which will be awarded, students who wish to be considered for a grant should apply before Monday 1st July 2013; if your PhD place has not been confirmed by 1st July, we suggest you still apply by this date and include a comment with your application. Applications received after this date will be considered only if places and funding is still available.
If you require College accommodation you need to apply before Saturday 27th July 2013; accommodation might still be available after this date, but cannot be guarateed.
Announcements of grant decision will be made by Saturday 26th July 2013
The final date for applications for the autumn academy will be Saturday 24th August 2013 but your own accommodation will have to be found, and will be subject to places still being available
