In this talk I describe thermal relaxation from a hydrodynamics point-of-view. I will show how "phonon hydrodynamics" arises naturally from a dissipative two-component model with particles and a massless entropy and discuss the potential relevance of the model to laboratory superfluids and nano-scale systems.
