ICCS 2015- International Conference on Computational Science

http://www.iccs-meeting.org/iccs2015/

News:

[1] Submission deadline extended to January 15. Please submit a short abstract now to indicate your interest https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iccs20150

[2] 27 thematic workshops are registered http://www.iccs-meeting.org/iccs2015/registered-workshops

[3] In addition to the Full Paper submission, we offer a "Presentation Only" option (a short abstract is published in a book of abstracts, but not in proceedings). You may also go for a Poster presentation, with or without a full paper.

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts reporting original unpublished research and recent developments in Computational Sciences by January 15, 2014. All accepted papers will be published in the open-access Procedia Computer Science http://www.journals.elsevier.com/procedia-computer-science and indexed by Scopus, ScienceDirect and Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation (former ISI Proceedings) – an integrated index within Web of Science. After the conference, selected papers will be invited for a special issue of the Journal of Computational Science (Impact Factor 1.567) http://www.journals.elsevier.com/journal-of-computational-science/

The ICCS conference is the prime annual event in Computational Science. This interdisciplinary conference on modelling and simulation of real-world phenomena will draw academic and industry leaders from all relevant fields. ICCS intends to provide a forum to disseminate world-leading research in the field of (scientific) Computational Science and in particular to highlight the role which modelling and simulation plays in future scientific discovery. As the conference theme this year is "Computational Science at the Gates of Nature", papers with an interdisciplinary focus that highlight the role of computational science in tackling the myriad problems and applications within natural systems will be particularly welcomed.

ICCS 2015 invites original contributions on all topics related to Computational Science, including, but not limited to:

  • Scientific Computing

  • Problem Solving Environments

  • Advanced Numerical Algorithms

  • Complex Systems: Modelling and Simulation

  • Hybrid Computational Methods

  • Web- and Grid-based Simulation and Computing

  • Parallel and Distributed Computing

  • Advanced Computing Architectures and New Programming Models

  • Visualization and Virtual Reality as Applied to Computational Science

  • Applications of Computation as a Scientific Paradigm

  • New Algorithmic Approaches to Computational Kernels and Applications

  • Computational Humanities

  • Education in Computational Science

  • Large Scale Scientific Instruments

  • Computational Sociology

  • Medical and Biomedical Computational Science

In addition, there are 27 thematic workshops organized by an expert in a particular area: http://www.iccs-meeting.org/iccs2015/registered-workshops

ICCS is also welcoming sponsorship cooperations: http://www.iccs-meeting.org/iccs2015/sponsors-exhibitors/ http://www.iccs-meeting.org/iccs2015/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Sponsors_Booklet_final.pdf

ICCS is an ERA 2010 A-ranked conference series. For further details please visit http://www.iccs-meeting.org/iccs2015/

Papers:

Papers of up to 10 pages, written in English and complying with the Procedia-Easychair format, should be submitted electronically through the ICCS-Easychair submission system https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iccs20150
