Bio
Mike is the Director of Engineering for iSys Capital Technologies. He's spent the last eight years working with vendors to the Financial Markets, specialising recently in high performance and low latency systems. His interest in performance optimisations began at the age of 11, trying to reconfigure memory on his old 486 computer to play games! Since then he has been involved with projects for high profile media, telco and financial services - working in a wide variety of roles from System Administration to as a Consulting IT Architect. He now spends most of his time wearing many hats; including sales and business development and heading a specialist team of architects, consultants and technical staff developing solutions for the Financial Markets.
