d3_logo D3.js is a JavaScript library for manipulating documents based on data. It helps you bring data to life using HTML, SVG, and CSS. The library is usually used when a webpage is interacting with data. Check out some examples available in the D3 gallery. The library does not work only with webpage development, it can be used, for example, with Python. In this context, several D3 packages are available, such as, MPLD3, Bokeh and Plotly. In this workshop the speakers will give a brief introduction about D3 and how to use it in Python. The event should last roughly 1h 20min, which 20 minutes will be a presentation and some capabilities of D3.js. The next hour will be to do some tutorials using Bokeh library with Python. If you are interested on making interactive plots for a presentation or a website just join us.

Important: Please, bring your own laptop to do the tutorials in this workshop. A virtual machine will be provided with all softwares needed. If you do not have VirtualBox installed in your computer, this is the link to download.
