Research students and postdoctoral staff are invited to produce and present a poster describing their research, with a lay audience in mind. The posters will be presented within themed sessions - these are currently planned as follows:
•Life Sciences
•Living with Environmental Change
•Maritime Studies
•Energy
•Complex Systems Simulation
•Mathematical Modelling
•General session
Information for participants
Second, third and fourth year research students, and recent PhD graduates, are invited to participate in the Showcase. Please see the Call for Abstracts for more information and instructions.
How to apply to take part: Please complete the Abstract Proforma (available to download from right-hand menu) and return this to fesmgrad@soton.ac.uk by 8 February 2010.
We will contact you by e-mail to confirm acceptance of your abstract, and send you further instructions. Information on poster production, and arrangements for the day is also available for download from the right-hand menu.
Information for guests
Our Showcase is an open event, and we are keen to welcome a wide range of guests from both inside and outside the University. Please e-mail fesmgrad@soton.ac.uk if you would like to attend yourself, or nominate a guest/guests.
