The University of Pittsburgh is starting a new interdisciplinary PhD Program in Computational Modeling & Simulation and we are currently searching for candidates for Fall 2012.

Curriculum:

  • 2x Numerical Methods
  • 2x Scientific Computing / Programming
  • 2x Courses from the sciences or engineering
  • Interdisciplinary seminar

The PhD work can be conducted in any of the participating research groups in science or engineering (e.g. in chemistry, physics, biology, mathematics, computer science, material sciences, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering).
