The objective of this course is to introduce participants to MPI and its use within scientific computing. This three-day course will cover an introduction to MPI (its basic architecting and usage), its use on a wide class of commonly encountered scientific computing algorithms, and how programmers can exploit the interface to gain both highly-portable and highly-optimized parallel scientific computing applications.
