This year we will have our inaugural Bi-Omics conference.
The half-day conference with afternoon tea will follow a very similar format to the Annual NGS Symposium from previous years. Our guest speaker this year is Dr Dennis Wang, Lecturer in Bioinformatics and Genomic Medicine at the University of Sheffield who will focus his talk on the challenges faced by large-scale multi-omics data integration and analysis.
We will also have the usual rapid fire research round, exhibitor stands, local and regional speakers from across University Faculties, Wessex Genome Medicine Centre, PHE Porton Down and National Oceanographic Centre. Programme also feature the Shortest Grant Application competition with £2,500 prize money for research.
