MSc in Engineering Materials - Federico II, Naples (2015)
I'm currently following a 4-year iPhD programme at Centre for Doctoral Training in Next Generation Computational Modelling. Specifically, my PhD project is: Microstructural modeling of skin mechanics. The project is supported by Procter & Gamble and aims to gain a mechanistic insight into the biomechanics of the skin.
My research field is the modeling of composite biological structures through numerical and analytical methods. Moreover, I am interested in the biomimetic approach and bio-inspired materials as well.
The research project is funded by the EPSRC and P&G company.
