Dr. Li-Wei Chen received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering and a doctorate in fluid mechanics from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2005 and 2010, respectively. He is currently working on DNS/LES for turbomachinery as a postdoc Research Fellow with Professor Richard D. Sandberg. Before this, he spent two years at United Technologies Research Center (UTRC) as a Senior Research Engineer (2010.03-2012.04), where he worked on compressor aerodynamics and large-eddy simulation for turbomachinery.
