I am a PhD student at the DTC in Complex Systems Simulation, supervised by Prof. Hans Fangohr; my research is in the area of Computational Methods for Micromagnetics. Some of the topics that I am investigating are:
- Micromagnetism at elevated temperature: stochastic processes, Landau-Lifshitz-Bloch equation, atomistic simulations
- Efficient computation of magnetostatic fields: Fast Multipole Method, analytical techniques
- Dynamics and ground-state configurations of colloidal magnetic nanoparticles
- Oscillatory normal modes in micromagnetic systems
- Efficient parallelisation of numerical algorithms on modern CPUs
