Matteo is a research fellow in the School of Engineering Sciences of the University of Southampton. He obtained his degree in Physics at the University of Trieste and started his PhD in computational physics in Southampton. His research interests are micromagnetism, computer simulations of magnetic nanostructures, electric and spin transport in ferromagnets and software development (numerical algorithms, discretisation methods for micromagnetics, vector graphics and compiler development).
